SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE

Sodium tripolyphosphate is a white powdered substance, non -flammable and non-poisonous. It is applied in the production of detergents. It intensifies the detergent efficiency, reduces water hardness and dissolves dirt. It is also widely used in paper, paint and varnish industries. It is used as a liquefying agent in ceramic industry. In food industry, STPP forms part of the special blends for the production of meat products (salami, sausages etc.) and it is also added to the emulsifying salts for the production of processed cheeses.
